Hydration systems are a convenient way to transport potable water when you’re out hiking, biking, or any other outdoor activities. But keeping your hydration system dry, safe and ready for use can be chore. Because they’re soft-sided, the water bladder can be tricky to dry, as they tend to collapse on themselves with the sides sticky together, allowing little droplets of water to pool together. This creates a near perfect environment for mold grow!
When used properly, the HyDry Pod can accelerate the drying process of your hydration system by inflating the bladder, keeping the soft sides off each other, and circulating ambient air throughout the bladder, drink tube and mouthpiece. Using the HyDry Pod will result in reduced moisture content in the hydration system thus, reducing the chance of mold growth. This also helps extend the life of your hydration system.
